About this series
Need to Know is designed for early-career teachers who, even after years of teacher education, often find themselves unprepared for the rigors of the job. There simply is no substitute for the on-the-job learning that occurs once teachers take the helm of their own classrooms, and this three-part series aims to provide newly in-service teachers with frameworks and venues designed to support their professional, intellectual, and psychic growth.

This series is best for:
  • First, second, and third-year teachers

By the end of this series, you'll be able to:
  • Reflect on and refine your classroom practice
  • Refine your skills in the areas of: classroom management, unit planning,  formative & summative assessment, teaching literacy, and the Danielson framework
