Call for Proposals: Literacy Unbound

On May 1st & 2nd, 2015 at Teachers College, the Center for the Professional Development of Teachers will host Literacy Unbound: Exploring Text Across Multiple Modes, a hands on exploration of textual response practices.

Dr. Ruth Vinz, Director of CPET and Dr. Jeffrey Wilhelm will be our keynote speakers, and participants will experience two packed days or hands on workshops with classroom teachers, teacher educators, and teaching artists.  

Please consider submitting a proposal to present at the conference (see below for more details). We are interested in proposals that share ideas and approaches for integrating reading, writing and discussion with artistic experimentation through drama, music dance, film and/or visual art.   

The deadline for submissions is January 8, 2015.
